Broadway Professional Joins Stage Notes' Creative Team

Published: Friday, 30 May 2014

In a surprise announcement to the Stage Notes cast of Les Miserables on Saturday, May 24, Artistic Director Ticia Marra announced that Stanley Joseph, New York, NY would be joining our creative team as Associate Director and Music Supervisor.

Our students were taken aback by the sudden appearance of Mr. Joseph, who had met students when they attended a theater workshop April 5 at a Broadway studio in Manhattan in conjunction with Broadway Classroom, and directed by Arbender Robinson, a cast member of the current Broadway Cast of Les Miserables. Mr. Joseph was impressed by our “incredibly talented” group of students, and spoke to Ms. Marra after the workshop to exchange contact information.

Mr. Joseph will also be conducting our orchestra for the show, and is working with the Stage Notes creative team to stage and create a new, exciting vision of Les Miserables for the North Country.

We believe our students are going to give you a performance of Les Miserables you won’t soon forget!

Performances are July 9-12, 2014 at JCC Sturtz Theater at 7pm each night. Tickets will be available at all Watertown Kinney’s Drugs locations, and through contact info on this website! Proceeds from our performance will be used to benefit the Watertown Urban Mission, so come out and support Stage Notes, and help us support the Urban Mission!
